Wow, another year of school. Ethen is now in the second grade. I can not believe how fast he is growing. I have heard other parent commenting on this phenomena of children growing up in the blink of an eye..... they really do. Ethen was sooooo cute his first day of school. He looks adorable in his uniform. I have been blessed to be able to send him to Bethel again this year. Emilee will be three in December and goes to Kiddie Korral, so she sees "Bubba" everyday. I have been told she has climbed under the fence a few times to so see Bubba.

I am now in my second semester at college. I again am taking 12 units. It is difficult with the kids, but we are working it out. I am taking intermediate algebra, (thank goodness it is my last math class) computer, (which is a gen. ed class) and biology. In the spring I will be able to apply to the radiology program. If anyone reading this has a minute or two, pray for me that I can get in right away. They say there is a 1-3 year waiting list. I really don't want to wait that long. LOL.

Also, Granny is doing well. She just finished her second round of chemo. She has an infection in her mouth, sort of like thrush, and she has days where she is really tired. We are all thanking the Lord that she hasn't been sick to her stomach. God is so good!!! I appreciate everyone who is praying for her. If anyone "deserves" healing, it is her. She is such a good, godly woman who has always been there for ANYONE who needed her. She has been the emotional and spiritual pillar in our family. I don't think she will ever be able to grasp the true depth of my profound love and respect for her.

Until next time. Thank you all for stopping by and reading about me and mine.

Things have been so very crazy lateley. Granny had her gallblader removed and during that process it was discovered she has lymphoma and will be starting chemo at the end of the month. Doctors are positive that they will be able to take care of it... but I know that God is in controll and am claiming healing in Jesus name.

The kids and I are going to Sacramento at the end of the month. We are looking forward to visiting with Robyn and Doyle. Ethen is excited to go fishing with him. I plan on doing some shopping for Ethen's school close and Emilee some play clothes for school.... which I know Robyn will absolutely LOVE. Anyone who knows Robyn knows she absolutely adores shopping. LOL.

As summer comes to a close. I am getting ready for school again also. I have just two more semesters before I can apply to the rad tech program. I am antsy to get into the program. The first semester I will have clinicals. That will make my education real. Being able to have some hands on training will make it feel like I getting closer to my goal.

Untill next time. Love you all. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Caribbean Cruise

Ethen and I just g0t back from our cruise. We had a blast. Ethen pretty much wore me out on the first day. We discovered every nook and cranny on the ship that day. The ship we were on, the Carnival Liberty, had a miniature golf course, a basketball and volleyball court, and a waterslide. He was sooo excited. We had three days in port and three days at sea. Each day at sea, he went to the kids club and played with the kids. Each day the kids club closed from 12-2, so I took him out to the pool and he wend up and down the waterslide for two hours. He loved it. I took some really cute video of that. Every day we were in port, I had planned shore excursions. The first stop we made was Ocho Rios, Jamaica. There, we took a Timeran from the docks to Dunns River Falls. It is a 920 foot water fall. There, we joined about 15 other people and climbed up the middle of the waterfall. It was so cool, we were actually in the waterfall climbing up it. Afterwards, we took the Timeran back to the docks, then I took him down to the beach. He played in the surf for a couple of hours. Next, we stopped in Grand Cayman, in the Cayman Islands. There, we went a dolphinariam and turtle farm. At the turtle farm we saw lots of giant sea turtles and baby sea turtles. Ethen was able to hold several of the baby sea turtles. Then, we went right across the street and were able to get into the water with a dolphin. We were able to touch it several times as it swam by. Then, one at a time, the dolphin swam up to us and we held it and gave it a kiss, then shook its fins. Ethen absolutely LOVED that. At first he was a little scared, but he got over it very quickly. Last place we stopped was Roatan, an island off of the coast of Honduras. There, we went to a bird and monkey sanctuary. We held a giant Macaw, it sat on our shoulder. Then, we went into the monkey area. Ethen had one of the monkey sit right on top of his head. Several times the monkeys would climb up his arm and sit on his shoulders. Another of the monkeys placed a handful of sunflower seeds on top of his head and then just sat there and ate them.... right off the top of his head.
We were so ready to get back home, though. I missed Emilee sooooooooooo much. It was hard to be away from her for so long. Ethen and I needed some time though. He has been having a difficult time. Well, I am including some pictures. I hope you enjoy.

It's Over!!!

Finally, my first semester at school is over!!!! I just finished my last final today. I have gotten all my final grades back. I got an "A" in all three!!!!! I am so happy. I didn't think that I would do as good as I did. I was always like that in school. I would stress over every test worrying that I wouldn't pass, but, in the end I would. I am now one step closer to my goal. I have to admit it feels good. I apologize if it sounds like I am bragging...... BUT I AM!!! I worked so hard this semester, juggling the kids and school. I tried so hard not to neglect the kids and tried to do most of my homework after they went to bed and when they were in school. Next semester is going to be harder. I am registering for 17 units. I need to finish the last of my general ed. and prerequisite classes so I can apply to the rad. tech. program in February. If I get in, I will start the program in June. So pray, cause right now they say the wait is anywhere from 1 to 3 years. I am praying to get right in. Names for the program are picked by a lottery, so it is possible to get in the first time I apply.
Ethen and I leave on Friday for a cruise. We are going on a 7 night Western Carribean. He is so very excited. He and I have been having a difficult time and we kinda need to get away. I think Ethen will absolutely love the cruise. We are going to Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Roatan, Guatemala; and Grand Cayman; Cayman Islands. I am excited to go somewhere just the two of us. Emilee will be staying with Granny and Stacey. She is still a little young to go on a cruise.

Untill next time. See ya later.

End of the Semester

Well, I've almost made it through my first semester back at college. It has been difficult juggling the kids, my studies and every day life, but I think I did ok. I took three classes totaling 12 units this semester. I already have my algebra grade, which is an "A" and I have finished my English class and am just waiting for my teacher to e-mail me my grade. The only one I have left is my Medical Terminology and I will take the final for that class on Monday. I have been studying really hard for that. There is alot of memorization involved. But, the kids and I are ready for summer. I gotta go now, I will log on again soon and post some new pictures.

It's Been A Long Time

Hello everybody, I know it has been a while but things have been crazy at school. I got through the midterm's and now am on the home stretch. So far I am getting an A in English and Medical Terminology and a B in Algebra, But by the end of the semester plan on having all A's. With lots of prayer, coffee. and Monster's!!!! It has been difficult juggling the kids and school but I think I am balancing it all as well as I can. The kids are doing great. Emilee absolutely loves daycare. When I pull into the parking lot now she starts saying bye before I even get her out of the car. She loves playing with all the kids. Ethen is in the Easter play and I will be posting some pics of that in the next couple of days. He is so excited. He and I are also giving a cardboard testimony. If you don't know what that is, look it up on youtube. It is a powerful way to give a testimony. I am excited to be involved with it. I have a couple of friends coming to the play, and I can't wait to see God move. Untill next time, God Bless.
